Columbus Day

Columbus Day is on October 13. They gave Christopher Columbus a day to celebrate the finding of a new world. I think is dumb because we are just celebrating the killing of our ancestors. Columbus did not find a new world. He found people living here. I see Columbus Day as if we can go to any store and take whatever we want, and just get away with it. The thing I don’t get is why people will celebrate for the killing of our ancestors. They killed little kids too.
